Domain Registrant Rights

Plain-language domain registrant rights and operational notes for Barq domain customers.

Prepared for launch review. This page explains customer-facing domain responsibilities without changing Barq provider status.

ICANN Registrant Information

ICANN publishes a Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities page for domain name registrants.

Contact Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate registrant, administrative, technical, and billing contact information. Some updates or verification requests may require manual review or provider/registry processing.

Registrar and Provider Dependency

Domain registration, renewal, expiry, restoration, and transfer behavior depends on the registrar/provider, registry, TLD, ICANN rules, and Barq's operational readiness. Provider or registry responses can require manual review.

Renewal and Expiry Notices

Barq may send or display renewal and expiry reminders where supported. Customers remain responsible for monitoring domain status and responding before expiry, redemption, or deletion deadlines. For renewal, transfer, or domain support requests, contact support@barq.one.

Transfers and Auth Codes

Transfer and auth-code workflows may require identity checks, transfer lock review, denial reason review, and audit logging. Barq will not represent unsupported transfer automation as active functionality.

Abuse and Escalation

Report domain or DNS abuse to abuse@barq.one. Domain abuse reports may be reviewed by Barq support, operations, providers, registries, or appropriate authorities. Abuse decisions must be reviewable and based on retained evidence where appropriate.
