Terms of Service

Terms for using Barq services and customer account responsibilities.

Prepared for launch review. Public payments and public self-service remain blocked until final approval and deployment.

Service Scope

Barq provides a platform for domains, Account Credit / Service Credit, dashboards, operational support, and future service areas. Business email and production reseller API access are not active public services unless Barq separately announces them.

Customer Accounts

  • Customers must keep account, billing, support, and domain contact information accurate.
  • Customers are responsible for activity under their account and for protecting credentials, sessions, and API access.
  • Barq may require extra verification for high-risk account, billing, domain, or support actions.

Account Credit Controls

  • Account Credit / Service Credit is closed-loop and may be used only for eligible Barq services.
  • It is non-transferable, earns no interest, and cannot be used for peer-to-peer transfers.
  • Cash-out is not supported. Refunds, where approved and possible, are handled through refund-to-source review.
  • Limits, manual review, payment-provider controls, and supported services may apply before or after funding.

Domains

  • Domain registration, renewal, expiry, restoration, transfer, contact, and nameserver behavior depends on provider, registrar, registry, ICANN, TLD, and operational rules.
  • Customers must keep registrant contact information accurate and respond to required verification requests.
  • Transfer/auth-code handling and some restoration paths may require manual review until the relevant workflows are active.

Acceptable Use and Suspension

Use of Barq is also governed by the Acceptable Use Policy. Barq may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for abuse, fraud, security risk, provider requirements, legal obligations, non-payment, or material policy violations. Enforcement decisions must be reviewable and auditable.

Support and Legal Terms

For general support, contact support@barq.one. For legal or policy notices, contact legal@barq.one. Liability, warranty, governing-law, and jurisdiction wording will be finalized through the approved publication process.
